GELLIFY, a B2B innovation platform that selects, invests in, and grows innovative and highly technological startups and connects them to established companies to innovate their processes, products, and business models, is proud to announce that Gianluca Giovannetti has joined the organization as executive director.
His expertise and experience will play a key role in strengthen GELLIFY’s B2B innovation platform model and will contribute to grow on an international scale.
Giovannetti brings a strong background in digital innovation to the GELLIFY team. A graduate of an executive program at INSEAD, Giovannetti has extensive experience as a manager in international companies in the industrial sector, where he led and handled business transformation projects at large multinational corporations to redesign processes and structures.
First serving as CIO at Del Monte Foods, then as the central director at Amadori, Giovannetti has always believed in using digital innovation to drive economic and social development.
Among his latest awards are the CIONET’s Chief Information Officer of the Year award, which he won in 2015 in the “Strategy-Driven CIO” category and in 2020 in the “Empowerment Officer” category.
Co-founder of the research center Digital Enterprise Lab at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Giovannetti also acts as a digital strategy teacher at Il Sole 24 Ore Business School.
Additionally, he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Digital Business Innovation Academy at the Politecnico di Milano and serves in the Innovative Made in Italy Examining Committee of UniCredit Start Lab that evaluates the best business proposals and startups admitted to its annual program.
